Kidochukwu Kameron Uzoka, originally known as “O-Mega”, now simply Cameron Uzoka.  He hails from Newham, London, currently affiliated with “New Base Music” , “Colossal Music Group”, “New Talent Crown”.  His main influencese are Nas, Kanye West, J.Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, 2pac, Canibus, Devlin, Talib Kweli, KRS-One, Stevie wonder, Alicia Keys,  Mos Def.

Cameron Uzoka was born in Northwick Park Hospital, Middlesex. He was raised in London but spent his teenage years in Newham.  Cameron Uzoka started rapping at the age of 12. He was heavily influenced by grime artists such as “Ghetts”, “Devlin”, “Wiley”, “Griminal” and “Double S”.  He made his first song at the age of 13 and partook in ciphers in his school until the age of 14. He decided to take a break from writing lyrics due to personal issues he was facing.  However at the age of 15 he resumed writing and started listening to old school rap artists such as “Nas”, “Imortal Technique” amd “Talib Kweli” .

In 2009 Cameron Uzoka aged sixteen came in contact with “Starlight Music Academy” a management  based in Brixton, London. The management nurtured talents of those in the performing arts, financial, academic department.  Late 2009 at the age of seventeen Cameron Uzoka released his first mixtape “Hidden Mask” under the moniker “O-Mega”. The mixtape gained enough attention to capture the interest of the 2009 BET Freestyle Friday Champion “Kay-M”. For a brief spell Kay-M mentored Cameron Uzoka on the art of free styling. He taught Cameron the importance of weaving words together to make raps more cohesive, which was a pivotal moment in his music career.
 

Cameron Uzoka left Starlight music academy and decided to enter the industry by himself.  Recently Cameron Uzoka has been doing some work with “Nathan Brown- New Talent Crown” . Cameron Uzoka met Nathan over Facebook.  Nathan Brown heard some of Cameron Uzoka’s music and was especially fascinated with “Dreams”. This resulted in Nathan calling Cameron Uzoka down to participate in a radio show about school bulling.  Cameron Uzoka gave his opinion on the topic as well as playing the song “Unwell” from the EP “Scholarship”. He even displayed his talents on the show by freestyling. At the moment Cameron Uzoka is still working on his mixtape “Gorgeous” and the EP “Scholarship”
